We had been to the the first Minami location on Barrington Road a few times and enjoyed the food quite a bit. I'm pleased to say that our experience at their new location in Schaumburg was very similar. The atmosphere of the new place, while not quite finished (there is an unused portion of the restaurant), was attractive and aptly decorated. I enjoyed my soba noodles and my partner liked the rolls. Minami is a great place for sushi. Give it a try!

The service here is fantastic, the whole staff came around to check to see if we need anything and are very down to earth. The presentation of the sushi is beautiful and the chefs really love what they do! I will definitely be back to check out the lunch specials.

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been too. Their calamari and rice bowl with shrimp was delicious, the sushi rolls are even better! Cool waiter and fast service!

Awesome food, great staff, amazing prices, and the sushi chef is always down for making custom sushi rolls for my fiance. Loved their original location and stoked there is one even closer to our house.

Wow! Great sushi. Sushi Chef Chris Palermo was outstanding! I just returned from Korea and a couple of years ago had sushi in Japan. I was transported back there through my tastebuds. I will definitely be back!
