Fun atmosphere and great happy hour menu. I loved my margarita! Our waiter was quick and we had a nice experience. Would recommend to any friends visiting the Scottsdale area!
Excellent place and service for get togethers! Had our son’s intimate wedding reception here for about 30 people. Service was top notch and food and drink was excellent. Highly recommend and on another note the decor background gave us great pictures!
I went to Carlsbad Tavern with 4 of my neighbors. The service was amazing (thanks Conner) and the food was divine! Their filet salad is to die for and two of the ladies had the burger special and are still talking about it. The outdoor patio has misters that kept us very cool. The waterfall added a peaceful and magical atmosphere. This is a MUST Go to Restaurant for Mexican food and they offer a wide variety. Conner made our visit even more special....Thank you Carlsbad!!!! We are coming back again!!
They have the best patio and potstickers! That right..New Mexican potstickers. They come with the most amazing white corn sauce. They go great with the tortilla soup for a lighter meal. Otherwise, be hungry when you come here because the entrees are huge.
Had filet mignon tacos that were great but they have steaks, burgers, appetizers. New Mexico SW dishes... spicy. Convenient parking by valet. Atmosphere was great. $50pp with alcoholic bvgs. Says "kid friendly" and that might be but it is a great place to go on date night. Outdoor scenery was fantastic. Only negative was the salsa. Did not care for it at all, either flavor. Overall, it was a great experience.

Now that the weather is nice we of course had to sit on the patio. I love the waterfall feature outside and the small river separating the upper and lower patio deck adds a nice touch.
Now if you ask of the dish is spicy 🌶️ and they say yes… believe them
The crab cakes came with a side of spicy 🥵 absolutely delicious and absolutely SPICY
I love that it came with a side salad as well
We also ordered the stacked enchiladas with rice and beans
Overall this was a wonderful meal
I can't say enough good things about this spot. We will definitely return time and time again and take out of town visitors! Everything from the moment you walk up is amazing, the atmosphere, service, drinks, food, even Andrew the owner is super personable! They are open til 2a for those having a late night out or getting off work late and want a good sit-down restaurant! Whether a casual dining outing or celebration of a special occasion, this is the place to go!
Carlsbad Tavern is awesome! I had the best food there. The tacos were so tasty, and the chips and salsa were super good. The service was friendly, and the place looked cool. I definitely want to go back soon. Highly recommend!
Went in on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm was greeted right away and seated. My drink came quick and the service was amazing. Every employee was happy and cheerful. I ordered the Santa Fe Club which was out of this world.

Chips and salsa were good (the green is Spicer than the red ) and so good !
Everyone at the table loved their food.
I got a chimmy and the meat was so tender and yummy, and it was fried perfectly. Rice and beans were also great.
For dessert we got fried ice cream, I honestly didn't love the topping but the ice cream itself was good.
Can't wait to come back when it's cooler and sit outside by the beautiful water feature , the random aliens scattered around were too cute!
