Really really good! I had the Nacho supreme with steak and my husband had davids original burger with a fried egg and chilli fries. The chilli fries were very good. I hope go come back on this trip and try more Mexican food from there menu.

Cheap, cheerful and delicious. Wandering around old town and needing a place to grab a quick bite I ran across David's. Admittedly, I was lured in by the "free fries or onion rings w/burger" poster, especially since they were all reasonably priced to begin with. I was mildly worried because while many of the other nearby restaurants seemed quite busy and there was only one other couple in the place...
I shouldn't have worried. I had the Guacamole burger, which, now after reading other reviews seems I am not the only one who thinks its quite a rave worthy item. The onion rings were also nice and crispy but still had nice thick onions inside.
Basically if you are reading this BEFORE you go, have the Guacamole burger, you won't regret it. Atmosphere is a little bland, I have zero idea why they also serve Mexican (looks like an old soda shop inside) as well as burgers but if you want good, cheap eats but don't want to do fast food this is the place to go.
Got chili dog & half fries/o rings. Chili was good. Ff & rings were good. Service sucked. No adults in sight. Felt like it was ran by teenagers. Waitress didn't check refills & offered dessert while we were still eating & later tried to clear table WHILE we were eating. More training is needed for young wait staff.
Great Burger. I had the Guacamole Burger and it really hit the spot. The Guac was fresh and chunky and the burger was tasty. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.
The burger and onion rings were really good. Got the green chili burger and it was loaded with (canned) chilis. Fries were solid, but the onion rings hit the spot. Service was slow, but we came in right after two huge groups did, so I'm reserving judgment.
Got a milkshake. Good creaminess and thickness. Heavy on the chocolate syrup. Could finish and I love milkshakes. Will try another.
Doors open at 8AM, we walked it at 8:20 and were the only customers. There wasnt Tea ready yet but otherwise no complaints. Biscuits and Gravy was ok, gravy a bit dark but eggs cooked perfect and potatoes seasoned nicely. Not the fanciest place around but thats Ok :)

People who leave bad reviews because of the decor??? really?? This place isn't glamorous hello it's a burger joint. A glamorous restaurant doesn't cost $25 for 2. Ever heard of that old saying if you can't say anything nice keep it to yourself?? We came for the food and it was delicious!! Fresh burgers NOT frozen, took a little longer but well worth it. We will be back. :)
