Amazing decor and great vibe. I love coming here for brunch. I came here with my family for Easter brunch and had the best chicken sandwich ever! Crispy chicken sandwich I added avocado and pepper jack cheese. I recommend smoking for a side of honey mustard to dip your fries and drippings in.
Great vibe, bartenders we great especially the lovely Taylor. Josh was kind enough to take our photo outside. I love the music and we share a name!!
We're in the area visiting and went for dinner only; due to my wife buying a Groupon. I have to say it was a great dinner and I don't know why more don't eat there. Sure I get it, most are looking for the music/DJ clubbing scene, but give the dinner a try. Fish & chips were nothing special but the fries were good. The steak & fries are well worth the money. The steak was excellently done.
Wait staff was pleasant though I could tell she was more looking forward to the restaurant closing and the bar starting up full force. Could be that it was a Tuesday but show a little more interest in those going for just dinner. If we come back to the area it would be on the list for dinner...clubbing? Probably not, were a little older than that crowd.
It was fun, and they created a fun and lively atmosphere with how they set it all up. Here in LA everything is real far from everything, so it was nice to have this sense little area of fun and nightlife that is easy to get from place to place. Plus they are hyper racist in Cali, and won't let Males in any popular venue here, so it was refreshing just being able to let loose and dance and feel welcome. Gr8 drinks too, I'd for sure go back.
Partied here for new years eve. It was cool but jam packed. Lines were crazy. I guess that what you would expect. Overall I had a great time and I felt like the staff was doing their best. I can't give 5 stars because I felt like things were not as organized as they could have been and prices were a good $2-3 more than they should be in old town.
