I ordered the regular italian sub. It was good with fresh ingredients. The bread was also pretty fresh. The size was large, and I made it into two meals. There was so much on the menu, I should have been more adventurous. Next time I'll get the meatball because I heard whispers that it was awesome. As a bonus, the person at the counter recommended an excellent place to watch the sunrise, which resulted in wonderful colors and good photography.

My family has been getting subs from Neptune's for over 30 years. On Mondays they always pay tribute to someone who is bald. It's called bald Monday's and they hand a huge banner on the building. Fresh ingredients with every type of sub you can imagine. The Tuna sub is excellent. Must try these subs if in the area or on your way to Kemah.

I love Neptune. I don't know much about meatballs, but their chicken salad is to die for, and their Au jus potato I would kill for... You will miss a local favorite if you skip this place!
