Yea! Good sister, good friends, good food. Met with some dear friends here, me and my sister. Good folks working. Our waitress had fangs. Lots of Halloweeness. Breakfast! I ate the one egg, one sausage, one potatoes, one toast meal. Tiny and enjoyable. Conversation and coffee and a stroll through the Farmers Market followed.
I would definitely comeback to this restaurant. To try their food it seems the specialize in comfort food but updated.
The chicken fried chicken dish was really good I liked everything about it. Except the Italian seasonings that was used in the country gravy. Since the had hatch Chile hot sauce on the table that helped tamed the Italian seasonings. I just personally do not like Italian seasoning. I really liked the fact they make their own hashbrowns. Instead of using frozen stuff. The chorizo breakfast was good too only issue was too much cheese but that’s my personal opinion. The cheese was dominating over the chorizo flavor. It took me a 20min to decide on what to order since there was so many good options for breakfast. They do offer happy hour so hopefully I can catch that menu the next time I am out in Ballard.
One of my favorite places in Seattle, Hattie’s Hat in Ballard is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and the bar is super fun too. Great historic Seattle spot.
