The best Korean Dolsot (Sizzling Stone Pot) Bibimbap I've had in America. The flavors, setting, and cooking style reminded me of my time in South Korea. Every meal is served with authentic style banchan. Very close to the light rail.
I live across the street and have been ordering from Kimchi Bistro once a week for takeout.
A couple reasons why I keep coming back:
1. The portions are generous.
2. The kimchi pancakes have a great mix of kimchi, onion, and chives. Other places will skimp on those ingredients and you're left with just an orange-looking pancake.
3. With all the rice dishes that come with a sunny-side egg, it's been perfectly cooked every single time. And the food is packed so neatly.
The owners are always there and it shows that they take real pride in their business. Thanks so much, and looking forward to my next Kimchi Bistro meal!
The bibimbap was delicious and perfectly prepared the way I like it... well cooked egg (slightly running yolk) and the rice at the bottom of cast iron pot was not burnt! The dishes are mildly seasoned and it was nice to be able to taste the food.
