Guero's Backyard

I heard many great reviews about this place but never thought I'd try it out. I'm used to taking my lunch breaks to fast food chains (Sonic, McD's, etc) but it gets tiring (and unhealthy) over time so I tried this place today on a whim and I don't regret it! They had a very interesting menu that I look forward to ordering from in the future; today I ordered the Purple Pig Sandwich and it was the most delicious thing I've ever had! It had components that I would have NEVER thought would be in a pulled pork sandwich but all the flavors blend together just perfect so I was glad. The wait time was a little long (not too long) but I very much expected that knowing the food would be made fresh and to perfection. The place is small (outside seating in their cute garden area) but to me it's perfect (I'd see this as a "problem" if their great food yields higher customer attraction; this place is great nonetheless). And pricing here is pretty decent, I actually expected it to be more expensive but I'm glad to know it's all affordable! I can't wait to go back to try something else, and I highly recommend you come here too. You won't regret it. (:

Fresh salad for me and delicious taco for my husband. We stopped there while passing through Seguin. Would definitely recommend and will go back! It is only outdoor seating so I would only recommend going on a nice sunny day. It was almost too cold for us to sit outside today, but being in the sunshine helped. Components of the salad are grown in the backyard seating area. So neat!

Wonderful eatery! We stopped on the way home from San Antonio. I had the Purple Pig Tacos and they were superb! Many of offerings sounded great. Definitely a place to try!

The food here is so fresh and full of flavor! True unique dishes! We loved sitting in the garden to eat! Next time we are in the area, we will make it a point to come back! Highly recommended!
