Had a good experience met with the owner perry had a good conversation and a fairly priced meal and one of the best in the area in my book always a good spot to stop if your in the covert south haven area
Best customer service I have seen in all my life. We ordered ribs tips, half slab, with 4 sides. We asked for corn bread but they did not make it on Sundays. Mama Ranch made sure to make us a special batch just for us.
The outside atmosphere was just like out of a story. Though we are out of town the guests and staff treated us like we have lived in town for years as the greeted us with friendly banter and conversation.

Local roadside rib place out by the airport, carry-out or eat-in, with excellent cooking and warm, friendly service to locals and visitors. Don't let the For Sale sign turn you away. The owners love what they do, have a loyal following, and have been looking for the right person to carry on the tradition for a while. The ribs and rib tips are smoked out back, delicious & slow-cooked to perfection. Portions are generous, along with samples, prices very reasonable - best value in South Haven. Choose a sweet mild sauce or a spicy hot sauce that has both heat and flavor. The corn munchies are outstanding, not to be missed. Other items we had the good fortune to try: Corn bread, crisp fries, cole slaw just like it should be, beans with a touch of honey, and really good potato salad. Everything was great. After only one visit, we now count ourselves regulars!
The ribs here are great!! We received samples of the rib tips, corn munchies, french fries and onion rings while waiting for our food, they were very tasty!! We ordered a slab and a half so we could take some home for later.
I've never been here but am giving a 5 star review to offset the guy that gave it 1 star because they had run out of ribs. That's not fair. I smoke ribs all the time. You can't control when they run out and you surely can't just make some more in 10 minutes. The restaurant may have had a busier day than normal. Now, I'll try this place out and do another review!
Brenda welcomed me into her restaurant with a smile. Three regulars stopped in for pickups to go home and watch the Lions game. Conversations when they dropped in sounded like continuances from past visits.
Brenda let me sample her rib tips (tender and delicious) as well as her off menu inventions (fried sweet corn and fried Mac and Cheese)
My order of half chicken was huge and fall off the bone. Their homemade sauces are spot on.

Been going there for over 20 years. Some of the best BBQ tips I have had anywhere in the country and I have been to many places from NC, KS,TN, NV and other states. The people are very friendly and helpful.
I live down the road from this place. I travel for a living, and where I stay at hotels I search for soul food places to eat. For the 8 years I've traveled this is still one of the best places ive gotten from in it's category of food style. Food comes quicker than your next smile about goin there.
Family-oriented food is great, price great, the staff is so kind and nice makes you feel at home.

Love their ribs with mild or spicy sauce. The corn nuggets are really good too but most everything on the menu is tasty.
These are the best ribs anywhere in the area!!!! I recommend this place to anyone who love bbq ribs or chicken!! The owners and their employees couldn't be nicer, they always aim to please!!
