My husband loves sushi and, after moving up here, his first mission was to find the perfect sushi place! After trying several other places, we were told to try Kubla Khan and it's been a love affair ever since! The sushi is creative, fresh, and always excellent! The bowls depend completely on your imagination and I have yet to have a bad one! Try it, love it, and frequent it!
Really fun place! Nice fresh food on their stir fry line and the sushi roll was out of this world! I definitely won't order as much next time! HUGE portions. The seasoning was great and the sauces were awesome too!
Love this place. Great ambiance; can be as casual as a lunch date or an intimate dinner. Food is reasonable priced. Sushi is really good!! I love their calamari. They cook their bowls just the way you want them.
The only negative experience I had was a few weeks ago with my debit card and my waiter. He was not very attentive my entire din in time but came very quickly to receive my debit card and hopefully his tip. I explained to him that my card was fragile and if he couldn't read it, I would come up to tell him my card number because multiple attempts at swiping will lock it. Well guess what, not only did he repeatedly type in the wrong information (after I told him I would tell him my card number since it was hard to see) he continues to swipe it and my card got locked. It was a total inconvenience. I have been back a few times and he was not there.
Outstanding. The create your own stir fry is awesome. They have just about every meat, vegetable, spice and sauce you can imagine there. Very pleased with the service, wish I got the servers name to post here. No need to go anywhere else for Asian cuisine.
By far the best "dining" experience I have had in a while. The food was amazing to say the least! It's a new regular for us now!
I have not been here before and decided it was time. I wanted sashimi or pad thai though I ended up trying a seafood coconut curry and some spicy flying fish roe. I will say the fish roe cleared my sinuses for sure! I enjoyed my coconut curry though I think the other 2 options I mentioned in would have liked more. I had Adam as a server and he was kind and attentive! I am sure I will give this restaurant a try again in. The future.
Amazing food and atomsphere, big servings , definitely worth it.. super nice staff.. we went later in the day was super busy, so we sat at sushi bar and ate.. spent around $60 but had so much we had enough for a another meal at home... My new favorite place
Absolutely amazing and fresh sushi experience! Their salads, soups and rice or noodle bowls are also quite good. Would recommend to friends and family, as well as strangers.
The smiles as they greet you. Make you come back. They food was great. I always buy too much. But I want to try the whole menu.
If you are ever in the Southaven Ms area stop by and support.. The customer service and food is extremely good. We had the bowl and Sushi rolls….we were able to prepare our own bowl. Fresh ingredients and love are put in place. Check out the Bowl. 10 out of 10 would eat again! The arrangement of how to go through the "buffet" to select ingredients was a little confusing but we figured it out. Staff was absolutely amazing. Food absolutely killer. I order quite a bit just wanting to try everything Kublai Khan had to offer and boy was I amazed. Everything was super tasty! Pricing is great. I highly recommend the dumplings and egg rolls. You will not be disappointed.
I love this Hide away. its nice and cozy food is always cooked to perfection. Our Waitress Liz was AWESOME. The only issue i had was that i asked for white rice and they sent fried rice with my bowl.
