This place is so yummy... We have gone a couple of times for the buffet. How can you go wrong with all you can eat feta, hummus, chicken, veggie sides.. The staff is always friendly I really enjoy this place.

I've been going to Azar since I was a kid I grew up few blocks down the street. The gyro here was actually the gyro I had ever had. I live in Seattle these days and still miss the gyro wraps. everytime I come to Spokane I have to sit down for the buffet and get my fill. the house made hummus is some of the best hummus I've experienced across the US. for a location that's been around longer than I have I'm happy when I travel to take my children there for 2nd generation to enjoy some real Greek and Mediterranean meals.

Feels like Yia Yia's kitchen. When you can re-enliven a travel memory and relax into your seat, it feels kind of like home. The old drive-in parking adds to the nostalgia. Azar's has a small and cozy feel and surely delivers on my feta cravings. Been trying to fill a void for Turkish Coffee for some years now so I ordered it, a little surprised at the cardamom flavor but still done "correctly." Guess it's possibly different everywhere you go. Kind of inspired me to buy my own ibrik and experiment in my kitchen.
The lunch buffet was better on the chicken and feta fix than the coffee need, but there is something special here. This may be my new lunch favorite aside from the Indian buffets. Their food is fresh and homey, I don't care if they use iceberg lettuce. All of the Greek Salad I had in Greece contained no lettuce and the dressing was nothing more than oil, vinegar and oregano so authenticity will always be relative in the US. Especially like the Lentil Soup. Don't worry about the decor, it doesn't matter and whatever outdatedness you find adds to the sense of home. Fill up on what makes you happy, but the buffet and small coffee will set you back $17 with tax. The website shows $9.95 for the lunch buffet; I'm told UPdates are coming.
