Good food everytime we come here, its kinda like a secret special place for those in the know. Wouldn't call it true Japanese, more of a fusion, which is appropriate since she is from Taiwan.
The food was alright, but the owners are such lovely people! They're an adorable older couple that loves to talk about their family and the health benefits of brown rice. In order to pass the time while the food was made, one of the owners taught my table how to play Chinese checkers solitaire. She was very encouraging, despite our terrible strategy. The food was fair for the price, and I've gone back several times. Cheerful owners make the dining experience fun and homey.
This place is very very family owned. Super personable owners, very sweet. I was expecting the teriyaki to look a little different but, it was still good! overall the meal was yummy! although i wasnt a fan of the sauce on the egg roll. They also have a fun game to play while waiting for food, overall a great experience lots of fun playing the game, yummy food and exceptional customer service.
It's a one man show. A lot of love is put into the food that this delightful, older chef makes. What he lacks in speed he makes up for in charm. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. I will be sure to go again next time I'm I visit The Flour Mill.
An interesting spot in the basement of the flour mill. We just moved offices into this area and I stopped by for a to-go teriyaki plate. The owner was so kind & attentive. Food is food, but a bit different than I usually expect when ordering teriyaki with a homemade vibe.
Good experience, and plan to come back for lunch in the future
Amazing food, amazing people! They make you feel so at home, they brought us a game to play while we waited for our food. Perfeft pre hockey game food! Awesome place to come! I'll be back every chance I get!
