Best place I've eaten in Fredericksburg in the last 25 years. Fish and chips done right & more than enough for 1 person. Shrimp n jalapeno appetizer great, not too spicy. Then the BEER! So many on the menu, but for me any place I can get draft Bitburger, Hofbrau & Franziskaner is heaven. The interior is beautiful woodwork and feels like a real traditional pub. Service outstanding. Will definitely return anytime I'm in town.
I have been there a couple of times now, and not once at any point of any of our visits have we been disappointed. The beer and bourbon selection are outstanding, the appetizers (Guinness glazed wings, buffalo wings, spinach artichoke dip, and some "fried cheese and fruit" app) were great, in the entrees or all excellent portions and very delicious. Our entrees were, Knob Creek peppercorn steak, Maker's Mark bourbon chicken, gouda and bacon stuffed cheeseburger, and JaegerSchnitzel. We didn't do dessert because we were absolutely stuffed, maybe next time. The service was personable and outstanding, the turnaround time for the food on a Friday night, way quicker than I expected. Definitely going back!!!
It was our first time there and we loved the atmosphere! We loved the music they were playing 70 and 80s stuff. I got the fish and chips it was good, large portion my daughter and I split it. The calamari was very good also.My husband got the cobb salad very delicious! Our server was Nicole she was very nice and gave us menu suggestions. We were there to celebrate our son-in-laws 37th birthday and since he didn't drive he didn't bring his Id so even asking the manager they would not serve him a drink so birthday boy had to go back and get his Id. We almost left but glad we stayed.
AH-MAZ-ING!!! Tavern interior is stunning and atmosphere is amazing. Fish n Chips and Shepherds pie are the best you will ever have. Service was also top notch. Extensive beer, bourbon, whiskey, scotch menu.
My husband and I enjoyed our dinner there. The food was delicious and our waitress was delightful. She was so nice and engaging and very attentive to our needs. I would recommend going there for a good time of food and drinks .
Great service, good atmosphere, food is consistently good. Really do the fish-n-chips well, big portion excellent batter. Try the specials, they tend to be something different but very tasty.

I have been to Park Lane about 20 times to eat and I have never been disappointed. The food was always delicious and the service was great. They have an extesive selection of foreign and domestic beers. I can't review the spirits, because I haven't ordered one yet, but I am sure it is wonderful as well!

Amazing service and food. Recently visited Park Lane Tavern, on a Saturday evening, and had the most amazing experience. I was greeted at the door by a pleasant hostess and was taken directly to our seat with a smile. Our server came to the table, introduced herself as Tammy, and from that moment on, we felt as if we had been there a 1000 times. She was humorous, down to earth, helpful in our selections, and her attitude continued throughout our experience. Our food was brought out with a continued smile, we were checked on frequently, and the beer selection she helped us choose was outstanding. We were most impressed because it was obvious, The Tavern was crowded and yet, we felt as if we were her only customers. The food was tasty, beer was exactly how it was described to us, and the desert, bread pudding, was incredible. We have not been to Park Lane since the name change and I recommend it to everyone. And if you go in, ask for Tammy. I believe even if our food and beer would not have been up to par, her attitude would have made up for anything lacking. You will not be disappointed in the food, the cheery atmosphere, or the service. Cheers Park Lane!
My wife suggested we try this place and we were all happy with her choice! I I had a bacon stuffed gouda burger which was great! Ordered it Medium and it was juicy smoky and delicious. I was a little worried at first because I thought the bacon taste would overwhelm everything else but it was not the case. The fries were also perfect. Crispy and crunchy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside. Our server was super friendly and checked on us frequently. Overall it was a great experience!
First time eating here. I had a very nice experience on a Sunday afternoon. Corned Beef and Cabbage was not your typical boiled plate. seems like everything was cooked differently/separately. Joey was a great server and the entire staff was very very attentive. Best service I've had in a long time. Everything that I saw go by looked great. I'll definitely be back to try some different things off the menu. The Queen Mary Bloody Mary was interesting, seems like a great value, but I think I'll stick to my usual Beer on future trips. Went back again this past Saturday and the Fish and Chips were quite possibly the best I have had, Fish was hot, moist, and the batter was thin, crunchy, and almost no grease. Amazing. Service was great again with Joey and Jessica. This place knocks it out of the park!
We were pleasantly surprised by the warm and quick service we received during a late night dinner stop here. The fish and chips entree was fresh, perfectly crisp and delicious. We also had the bacon gouda burger which was flavorful and filling.
My date and I went on a saturday night, it was very busy, but the service did not slack. Our server was efficient and thorough. The food was quick. We enjoy everything, no complaints. We tried the brussels prouts and Shrimp on the appetizers menu and corned beef and pot pie on the dinner menu.
Park Lane Tavern is a loud, fun place with good food and good service. The atmosphere is great if you are looking for a fun place with friends. Our server was brand new but was attentive throughout the meal from drink orders to payment. I had the fish and chips, a restaurant favorite, and it was just right. Great time!
