Absolutely delightful dessert and pastry shop! All of their desserts are sinfully delicious and very creative. Their macarons are to die for! Recently moved here from Chicago, where I had my pick of 100s of bakeries with some of the best chefs in the world. Nothing comes close to the macarons here, NOTHING. This will be my go-to dessert place. If their full cakes are anything like the rest of their delightful offerings, I think I will have to create a special occasion just to get one! This dessert place is a local phenomenon. I absolutely love it. The place is tucked in a corner of Old Saint Augustine, and not yet discovered by the millions of tourists. The atmosphere is welcoming and the ambience is delicious. I have tried the various macarons, chocolate chip cookies filled with awesomeness, coconut cake, brownies with coconut, cheesecake, cannoli, and tiny oatmeal cookies. You name it- I ate it. I highly recommend Cream de la Cocoa!
I'm not usually a big fan of wedding cake... most of the time it's bland and doesn’t look very special. But chef Nils and his team at Crème de la Cocoa made our wedding cake gorgeous and absolutely delicious. Each layer was a different flavor and he worked with us to decide the best flavor to make as our "keep cake" since that tradition is so important to us. The keep cake was even already packed in a box and vacuumed sealed for freshness. Chef Nils will make your wedding cake and dessert experience fun and stressfree. This was one of my favorite vendors to work with for the whole wedding! They pulled it off flawlessly! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
