Excellent experience all around. Went there on a Thursday night at 7:30pm (they close at 9pm) for the first time, after hearing people recommend the place time and again around St Petersburg. Three of us went and there was no problem getting a table quickly. I ordered the $15 rum runner drink which comes in a half pitcher (it's a gigantic, delicious drink) and my friends ordered beer and a margarita. Everyone was happy with the alcohol selection. For appetizer we ordered the shrimp potstickers... Very tasty! My dinner was the Scallops Rockefeller which was a huge portion of rich, cheesy deliciousness! The scallops were plentiful and cooked perfectly! I had to take more than half of the dinner back home as it was a gigantic portion. My friends ordered the Jambalaya and the fresh catch - Red Fish. We all tried each other's dinners and they were all very tasty and I would have no qualms about ordering any of those entrée choices! The warm bread with mango-butter is tasty as well. And they will keep bringing you more. Our waitress, Terry, was attentive, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food selections and seemed to really like working there. She told me about the Club Savor dining membership, which I was already a member of. The Club Savor membership costs $29.95 a month, but saves two adults 50% off their entrées and an alcoholic drink. Using it on Thursday at Sea Critters saved me $32 off my total check... So very much worth the membership if you dine out a few times a month like I do. There is limited parking directly in the front parking lot, but there are spots in the parking lot to the south of the restaurant. The place doesn't look like it's as large as it is from the outside, but plenty of room and tables, including seating in the back overlooking the water. My first time eating there since moving here to the St Petersburg area 8 months ago... And I and my friends will definitely be coming back again and again to Sea Critters!

Took my mom for lunch on a Sunday and everything was perfect. My mom had the lobster roll with coleslaw. The lobster was true New England lobster with a ton of claw meat. She ate every bit of it! I had the fried shrimp dinner. There were a dozen shrimp on my plate and they were large. Service was fantastic and we were very lucky to get a table when we did because it filled up really fast. We sat outside and enjoyed the water view. Our server was attentive without "hovering" and made sure were taken care of. I have been here 4 or 5 times over the years and loved it every time. Great staff, food and location.
