Hidden gem on the island! Their steak sopes cant be beat. Steak cooked with yummy caramelized onions & usually pinto beans (my fav) but sometimes black beans, still so delicious. So authetic, also a deli selling mexican snacks, chips, atoles, aqua frescas tamales, mexican dishes & specials breads & cakes made on premises. They have hard to find menu items sometimes like 🫔tamales de elote. Small Diner like feel w. small countertop dining (can see food being made behind the counter) TV, small decorative tables, mexican nick nacks & items can also be bought here. Owned by husband & wife who prepare the food & work hard. They have different salas daily.. theyll always give atleast 2 different types of salsas w.your order.. sometimes 3..They're open late. Use to be 24 hours but since corona I think they close like 4am?. We order on door dash because we're not close, husband likes their gorditas. Not sure why on doordash their are tex mex photos (don't be fooled) because this place is the real deal. But they can also make tex like items if that's that's you want.. more options available when you actually go their or ask over the phone rather then on door dash though. Prices are also very reasonable.
