We're from Florida, but a friend who grew up in SD told me I had to visit a Taco John's on my vacation. I was not disappointed. The food was so yummy, and that cheese sauce is amazing. The guy at the counter was patient with me and answered questions for me too.

Since I'm very hard of hearing, I always go inside to order. I asked the girl behind the counter if the super nachos have guacamole on it. She proceeded to tell me how something was made, I couldn't understand her. I ordered the super nachos with no guacamole. Got home and I had chips with tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole. Went back to store, told them I wanted super nachos with no guacamole! They still tried to put guacamole on it

Best Taco John's in the area/region in my opinion. Probably the best Taco John's store period. I've eaten there since I can remember.

Website says they close at 10:30 pm just pulled into the parking lot at 10:00 pm and they turned the lights off. Have never had nothing but bad experiences at this taco johns. Which really sucks living in Sturgis. Now driving to Spearfish to go to Taco bell. And will from now on.

So Ive lived in Sturgis my whole life, and have been eating here for a long time, I even used to work here when I was a teen. But the food I got yesterday gave me HORRIBLE food poisoning. I cant seem to keep even water down all day. Lately, anytime I order something with grilled chicken, it seems to upset my stomach. Please work on your guys' food handling so other people don't get as sick as me. I didn't enjoy missing work today.

Stand alone restaurant with ample parking. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Restrooms where clean and in working order. Food was a little below par for a Taco John's. Beans were very thick and dried out as was the rice.

Great visit. Order was 100% correct. Chicken bites cooked perfect, side of ranch too small but tasted great. Potato Ole cheese ranch bacon bowl was delicious. Burrito was made perfectly as well. Great Taco John's location!!!
