Awesome place for a home cooked meal!! Cracklings are awesome and I drive over 35 miles to go on Mondays for beeftips n rice n gravy oh yeah they make a darn good seafood gumbo .

Every time we come to the lake area we always stop by here to eat. They have the best shrimp poboys & boudin balls!

This place is great. It was so good, we had to go back twice, just to make sure. While not a true crab cake(being from Maryland I believe crab cakes should have no filler, just lump crab.) it was very good, even with the filler the crab taste was amazing, the spice and consistency was great. The mini pies were great, the po boys were everything I wanted and more, first trip we had the oyster po boy, second trip we had the shrimp. Sausages were fantastic. The crawfish pist were amazing. As for feel of the restaurant its a southern experience, one side filled with coolers with selling meat and a small part selling beer, the tables were clean, and rolls of paper towels on the tables.
