Clean place, nice set up and happy workers. If you need a place for breakfast to start your day this is it. If you are craving a good food and a good service, you will be satisfied. I went there for the first time, and I will go back. Yes the food was that good. I’m not a coffee guy but even their decaf coffee taste excellent. Be nice to the waitresses
The table/seats were messy with crumbs and there was gunk in between the booth seat and where you put your back. We HATE that restaurants never have pride in the cleanliness of the seating area. It's unappetizing for us. So, we cleaned it ourselves like we normally have to. (Unfortunately we can't do much about the floor)
Food was great tho! Bacon was cooked perfectly! Waitress was friendly and helpful. It was free pie Wednesday and we all got to bring home a free slice (of fruit pie) so we are looking forward to sharing our dessert later!
I ordered online for pickup from this location because my usual location, on Northern and the 101, wasn't taking online orders at the time.
A couple things to know about the Surprise location, on Grand Ave. It's not the easiest to get in or out! There are random curbs, gravel spots and one ways. But once you're there and inside it's nice. The dining room and bathrooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. It took a while, even with the drive to get there but, our food was hot and tasty.
We're all about the service and the service here is always outstanding. We went on a Wednesday for the first time and to my husband's delight got free pie. The food is good enough for a quick meal and they do give a senior discout if asked. We enjoy stopping in once a month or so for a fresh meal in a bright, cheerful place. Recommend it:)
Stopped in for lunch on 7/11/2023. Haven’t been to a Village Inn in about a decade. Susanna was our waitress and she was an absolute ROCK STAR! One of the best Waitresses I’ve ever had! Give that woman a raise for sure!! Food was great too! I had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and corn. It was delicious! Thanks so much Suzanna and John!!
Much to the poor waitresses best efforts, it took a long time to get service. She just had too many tables. Very nice staff and we didn't too much mind the wait, but definitely don't go in a hurry. The food was very good.
I have been a fan of Village in for many years. This was no exception. The server was very friendly and fast. The food was adequate. After being gone from the valley for 15 years it was nice to see Village Inn was still her. I love their pies!
I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Village Inn this morning. Perfect amount of food. I had the 2-2-2. The place was packed so my meal took a little bit of time but the staff was very friendly, my server was great and my meal delicious.
Omg! I'm back. This is my go to when I arrive in Peoria. I love this dish. Lemon Artichoke Chicken w/spinach & Rice Pilaf. Coffee is fresh.. I drank 3cups. A+ service as usual Michelle & Bri were so friendly, even though the place was crowded. And the cook personally brought my plate out. They did a wonderful job.

I went with a couple of friends for breakfast. I had eggs , bacon and French toast combo. Everything was good , as it usually is. Our waitress was very attentive. It was on Weds., so we even had a free slice of pie. The lemon merangue was great , not overly sweet.

Lets start with waiting to be seated No issues with dirty tables or restaurant filled no it was the manager Donna of restaurant who chose to sit at the register looking at receipts until i looked at her for a long time the look finally got her attention Then after we walked up to her to pay and told us to look for our waitress to pay!! Now thats professionalism NOT! Did i mention the pie case it had nasty looking old pies in it they need to clean it up and replace the pies Nasty ****UPDATE*"** Had a pleasant conversation with owner provided detailed info regarding service that was provided stated that he provides open conversation with employees to encourage professionalism and understanding of new guest needs With His friendliness and business like demeanor i felt open to return and enjoy the great dishes provided by Village Inn at this location Thank You
This is my favorite place to eat when I'm here in Surprise, Arizona. The service is awesome, and the food is great. Leave room for pie, too. 🥧
