Wow! This place cooks some great tasting food. Don't come here for the looks or decor, come for amazing Chinese food. The sesame chicken had lean, white meat, cooked perfectly... lightly battered and crispy. The volcano shrimp had just the right amount of heat with a wonderful flavor. I spooned up all of the sauce from both plates at the end. I would have preferred pork egg rolls over the spring rolls, but after my entree I forgot all about the appetizers. I really wish I lived closer to this restaurant, I would be here once a week. If you're visiting Taos, stop by Yu Garden Asian Cuisine. If you live here, I envy you. This was an unexpected gem that we stumbled upon. The lovely Taiwanese lady who served us was enough for us to love this place, but the food was truly exceptional and some of the best Chinese food we have had. We started with chicken dumplings (aka potstickers) that were lightly fried to a perfect crispness without any hard edges. The cashew chicken was filled with zucchini, mushrooms and pineapple while being generous with both the chicken and the cashews. 😋 The mushu pork is a highlight, as it was so perfectly made without being soggy or greasy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hidden gem.

🥢🥢🥢We had house fried rice and family style tofu and they both are delicious. The fried rice is not oily at all and quite “refreshing”. The tofu is spicy but tolerable and pack lots of flavor. ‼️‼️‼️They are still doing to-go only but do give them a try! I guarantee that you won’t regret it.
