This diner has been here a long time. Started out in an old train boxcar, so it’s fitting that the place is decorated with old train light fixtures, picture frames made out of train window frames and other train stuff. The food is comfort food at it’s best! Lots of choices…I mean lots! They have specials every day. I had the chicken pie (Wednesday special) which had lots of chicken in it and topped with a crust that’s different from a pie crust, not sure how to describe it, but it’s delicious. It was covered in a yummy gravy. Hubs had the beef stew with sides of mashed potatoes & green beans. The stew was so filling he didn’t finish all of the sides. Everything came out hot and pretty quick. Our server was very good and knew what she was doing.
Nice people cute little a good variety of choices as far as food I believe I got the white fish and shrimp combo with them yams and fries and cobbler 1395 but worth it only thing was the shrimp was a little too small and a little too crunchy other than that really good
Had a great time! The food was good. Ask about soups they're updating their menu! Had the tomato basil it's thick and delicious. All I'd suggest is a better cheese. But I also make my cheese with sharp cheddar. Boyfriend got tenderloin and eggs with hashbrows and toast. And my mom got special hot cakes with eggs and bacon which also looked good! I'd suggest this place. It's cute and adorable.
Great diner atmosphere and friendly staff. The Western omelet is excellent. We were in Thomasville for the weekend and we had breakfast here both mornings! They seem to stay busy so you know they must be doing something right. We will definitely stop by again if we ever find ourselves back in the area.
Breakfast work meeting and the food was on point. Sausage was perfectly done, eggs were great. Hashbrowns (home fries) were alright. Overall a great experience, this is my 6th time here in 4 years says Google 😂
