Just visited the Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe while we are staying at a private cottage rental very close to it. Quaint & Excellent Service & Ice Cream! Only order 2 Scoops if you are VERY HUNGRY! The 1 Scoop is Very Generous, especially for a tourist area! Priced so reasonable too! Enjoy! So happy these places still exist!!

We stayed on Lake Nokomis for a week and hit up this place 2 times on our stay. Staff was awesome! And they were incredibly efficient getting people through the line. They stack these cones like professionals. They rotate flavors as well so one day they could have a flavor you love the next day it may not be available.
Remember to bring cash. They don’t take card!

Great place to stop for a unique and nostalgic time. The ice cream was great and for four dollars, I got more than I could possibly eat!
Steady flow of people coming through but they were able to handle the volume.
Time to open up the bathroom though, Covid is all done and patrons had to cross the street and use facilities at tilted loon.

This place is fabulous. The boats only have three scoops by their definition. The cup has only 2. It was worth the drive.

This place is a must if you're in the area. You really only need to order a one scoop as the portions are huge!
