Quick taco tienda.... I stopped by this place for lunch having read a few positive reviews. I wish I had known about Monarca sooner. I ordered the chicken tacos at 2 for $4, and they came with plenty of meat, onions, and cilantro, wrapped up in two corn tortillas and served a slice of lime and salsa verde. I ordered my meal to go and the kitchen had it ready in about five minutes. I really have been craving this kind of taco, so I savored the tastes and textures. The heat on the chicken was a more than I would have liked, but I don't think I would say it was too spicy, I just like a slightly more mild chicken taco. Anyway, the whole experience was very good and I plan to go back--even if it did give me a touch of heartburn.

Great Mexican. Excellent food, never been disappointed. Guacamole is the best I've had at a restaurant. Chicken tacos are my favorite and the tortes and tamales are wonderful as well. I've read some comments on the service and we've never had a problem, it's not "warm" service or overwhelming service you may find some places, which it's fine by me. They take your order, bring your food and fill your drinks as needed, just the essentials.
