Pulled up to a full parking lot just a little before noon on a Saturday. The dining room was crowded, but we were still able to find a seat right away.
Service was great. I had allergen questions and the server did not hesitate to check with the kitchen for answers. He continued to check with us and anticipated several of our needs. Food was good, and prices were reasonable!
Great breakfast spot. There breakfast tacos are delicious and also humongous. My friend and I both made the mistake of ordering three each and we could only finish one a piece.
You have to try this place. Whatever you order, make sure you get some of the homemade corn tortillas. We eat here every time we get to Uvalde.
Living in TX we get to try Mexican food all over. Ofelia's is definitely at the top of the list. Relaxing atmosphere, excellent food. Their burrito is huge and has an excellent flavor. Definitely a thumbs up.
I had a really great lunch here. The food is fresh and flavorful. The taco salad is amazing. The shell is a real treat. The chicken fajita nachos hit the spot. Prices were a little higher than expected. The fries were served cold. Could have been 5 stars.

The chips and salsa is outstanding, nice light crispy chips. The salsa is freshly made.

We had the enchiladas plate. Chicken enchiladas are so good. I highly recommend. Also had the chicken fried steak. Definitely competes with the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had.
I highly recommend this place and will be coming back often! Corisa was an awesome server - polite attentive and super nice!
Food prices went up quite a bit. Handmade signs on door letting you know prices went up but menu doesn't show price increase. Food was good but a little of a sticker shock when paying check. 4 breakfast tacos & 2 drinks was over $17.
This place should get 10 Stars! Really good old Tex-Mex food. Super friendly staff. Very "Texas friendly". This place is usually full of folks/family but the wait is worth it.
One of my top places to eat Mexican food when I visit. They never disappoint 🙂

The food is really good. I'm not from the town of Uvalde, but my mom is, so anytime we visit we stop and eat here. Staff is friendly and pleasant. The menudo is very good, I highly recommend it. The tortillas are amazing, hot and fluffy, just like grandma used to make. Their tacos are very hearty and full, they don't go skimpy on the fillings. You won't regret making the pit stop to eat here.
