For dinner tonight we took the short trip to Venice to visit Shogun for some teppanyaki steak and shrimp. It was a nice evening. We were not overly impressed with either the soup or salad, but once our cook arrived and started his routine the food he prepared was very good. Even after all these years I still like the little show from the flaming volcano onion rings to flipping those shrimp tails into a hat. Our cook was a professional with many years of experience, and it showed as he easily carried on a conversation without missing a beat preparing the food.

The restaurant had been around for many years and while it does look dated, I saw no problems. And we enjoyed spending time with the others at the table as we enjoyed our dinner.

Hole in the wall Hibachi for Venice locals!!! Great Food! Great Service! Yum yum sauce is best of the best. Early bird specials before 530 great deals! Steve the chef is awesome always makes perfect rice and medium rare steak. We will be back! The server has been there over 20 years and always gives great service! We will be back!!!

One of the best hibachi restaurants! Always fantastic service & delicious hibachi, everything from their special mustard sauce to the salad dressing, this place is definitely phenomenal.
