We have been looking for a Go To place in Vero. for quite some time now. I believe we have found it. We loved everything about our experience here. The place itself is very quaint, the staff is perfect... charming, knowledgeable and friendly . The food was outstanding. The Gnocchi with corn was on point...so good i have thought about it several times since. Three of us had the Corvina fish special and literally cleared our plates. The desserts and wine were all just as good. We were all thrilled and will be back soon. I could go on and on.
This place was awesome!!! Some very unusual and unique entree’s!!! The fried green tomatoes for appetizer was the best I ever had!!! I had the spare ribs with a pimento cheese stuffed ravioli and it was awesome!! My husband had the beef tenderloin and my friend had the salmon. Both of those were great too!! Definitely a great place for a special dinner!!!
I have nothing but good things to say about fire and wine. Everything was amazing, the staff really treats you like family. Last night we had the special appetizer, sushi grade tuna over a crispy wonton with wasabi cabbage and their calamari. My entree was also their nightly special, I had the swordfish, very fresh, generous portion cooked to perfection served with ratatouille and a white bean cake, topped with a delicious marmalade and asparagus. For dessert we had the strawberry cobbler topped with a white chocolate cheesecake ice cream. We had Bruce for our server he was awesome and we had lots of recommendations from Conner, he suggested a nice Bordeaux blend. Roger really treats you like part of the family, very nice genuine people. I highly recommended Fire and Wine
Roger and Chuck have really made something special. Its coziness reminds me of some of my favorite hidden gems in Manhattan. The food is better than anything I've eaten in Vero Beach or the surrounding areas. We started with the tuna appetizer and the escargot. The sesame tuna was beautiful displayed atop a pile of incredibly delicious wasabi slaw: not too spicy, not too mild, just right; and it all floated on the most perfectly cooked giant wonton. My girlfriend had the Corvia with sweet potato fritter as an entrée, and I had the salmon with the corn bread pudding and fall mushrooms for dinner and it was spectacular. The salmon cooked perfectly, the corn bread pudding being one of the most delicious plays on anything corn bread I've ever had the pleasure to devour, and the earthiness of the mushroom medley really completed the dish. It was perfect. We had the zucchini bread with banana gelato for dessert and I would describe it but writing all of this has worked up an appetite. It was all magnificent, just go eat there. Thank you guys!
How many times do your friends say "you have to try this little place for dinner. It's awesome"? Then you go and you're disappointed. Well, that's not the case with Fire and Wine. This place is the real deal, with an owner who gets it with customers. Excellent food, fun atmosphere, great service and great wine selection. You simply must try it, I highly recommend!
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday tonight after searching and researching for the best dinner in vero and they live up to their reputation and more.
The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, the presentation is classy and the food is prepared by an obvious master of his craft. The short ribs melted before I had a chance to chew and the creme brûlée is hands down the best I have ever tasted, but what really stands out and makes this a place I will continue to visit is the staff.
As soon as i walked in it felt like I was visiting old friends. They made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we set foot in the door till the moment we left. I’m only leaving 5 stars because they won’t let me leave any more. I see why people hail Fire and Wine as a local treasure. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit.
Outstanding experience! Staff was warm and welcoming and the food was on par with some of the top rated restaurants we've had the pleasure of dining at around the country. The Tuna sashimi with Wasabi coleslaw and pan fried scallops in a mouth watering broth were our starters and paired well with glasses of Silver Peak Pinot (fantastic choice if you like Pinot Noir) After looking at the generous portion sizes at other tables, we split the Barramundi fish special which was topped with a savory mango chili sauce served on a bed of sauted rice, calamari and fire roasted Asparagus........amazing! Last but not least if you like pecan pie they put a spin on it substituting pistachios in a tart served with a flavorful vanilla ice cream. Don't let the unassuming exterior deter you from an experience that will have you thanking the kitchen staff for their efforts.
We had a wonderful early dinner here the other night. It’s located in a small Winn Dixie strip mall, but don’t let that fool you! Reservations are a must and everything in the menu is top quality- with excellent service. The only warning is, it can be warm in there, and a little on the noisy side. But so worth it for the food. Don’t miss the soups!

We were on the road on I95 north and asked Siri for a five star seafood restaurant near and we end up to Fire & Wine. As we entered, the host was super nice and welcomed us without reservations. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
What a hidden gem! This restaurant is so unassuming, that you might think you’re in the wrong place when you arrive at the strip mall it’s located at.
Roger, the owner, handled our phone reservation, came to speak with us several times during our meal, and even brought us some special selected wine bottles that were not on the menu yet (he’s also a highly rated sommelier).
The kitchen prepared both fillet mignon and fish to perfection and Amy our server was extremely attentive throughout our experience.
Cannot wait to go back and experience this again and try new menu items!
