For Wakefield, this place is a Gem in the rough! The standard American Chinese food menu... HOWEVER the specialty dishes are really VERY good. I am from Hong Kong originally (resident of Wakefield since 1978), so I really know my Chinese food. The Hot sour Soup is delicious. My Mummy is originally from Shanghai and we have ordered a quart of Hot Sour Soup to take home to her. Try the Curry Chicken with mixed vegetables, Jumbo shrimp with cashews, Soft Ma Pu Tofu with ground pork, the House Special Chow Fun, the Yu Hsiang Eggplant House Chow Fun, Spicy Chicken Wings (the small is big), Spring rolls and I will keep adding as we try more. All these dishes were flavorful and my wife really enjoyed. Portions were fantastic and the service was decent. The decor is very simple as well as the booth seating. My theory is, we are here to EAT 😊
Excellent beef lo mein. Arguably the best I've had in years, and I am not a lo mein fan (my wife is, and she also loved it). This place is a gem tucked away near the train tracks. Good option for dining in with kids, especially on a week night. Everything was good.
Pretty decent amount of food for the money you pay for. Really tasty food!
