I'm a pupusa fanatic and this place does not disappoint. Small footprint, local patrons, good food, inexpensive. What more could you want?!

Delicious food, the best salvadorean food i've tried in Washington DC! I loved the pupusas and the dessert <3
Amazing Salvadoran food. They have Pilseners, pupusas and yuca con chicharrón, what else do you need in this world? Best place in the whole Washington DC area.
Everything that we order was really good, the price is a litle high but worth it
Delicious food in a fun, casual atmosphere. Soccer on TV!
Delicious! We came here for a quick bite and everything was pretty yummy. They have natural juices as well those were pretty good. The place is small place not to many tables, however food and service was good.
I had never tried Salvadoran food until El Rinconcito and it blew me away. This place is an underrated gem. Spinach and squash pupusas were very tasty and homely. The burrito was unlike any southern American food I had ever tried, full of flavor. And the seafood soup was a challenge to eat, but very very tasty. This place is a must try if your in the DC area.
We are also Muslim so we don’t eat pork or any non halal chicken or beef, and the staff were very accommodating of this and helped us choose our meals accordingly. Even without meat the flavor was amazing. The service here was excellent and was very welcoming and hospitable, reminded me of service back home. I only gave the atmosphere a 4 because it was a little small, and some people had to wait outside in the rain.
Awesome Salvadoran food. Very home style, everything was fresh and made in house.
The pupusas was my favorite. You can taste how fresh the tortilla was.
Great spot to support a local business and eat tasty food.
What a lovely experience! We rode our bikes from DuPont Circle to the restaurant for dinner and walked into a quaint space with a welcoming staff. Our server was adorable and attentive, he even let me take a copy of the menu when he saw me trying to grab a good pic of it. I keep it with my DC souvenirs.
We did extensive research on DC restaurants and this one was often mentioned as the best El Salvadorian food in town.
We each ordered the 2 pupusa plate. I had the Loroco and the Revuelta. It came with refried beans and this delicious cabbage, red onion, carrot marinated slaw as a topping. Top notch meal, and a great price.
It's clearly a beloved neighborhood favorite and we can see why. Recommend.
This place is a gem for mexican food. And their food is very very satisfying. We had platter and papusas. Everything was so very flavorful and delicious! ☺️☺️
