Absolutely love this place. Small, intimate, interesting design/decor. Our server Brian was one of the nicest waiters ever. There's a free jukebox in the back. All their drinks were delicious, try the one with lavender, it's like a summer witch elixir. Everything we ordered was ON POINT ! Flavor combinations were perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant, and wish we were not just visiting so we could come back again and again. Guess there will be more DC trips in our future.

Small and cozy restaurant/bar, with a bit of retro flair to it. Amongst the first things noticed when entering is that the entire left wall is covered in abstract art made with cassette tapes of the 80s and 90s. It's an endearing feature. The food is very heavily oriented towards meat, and boy, do they deliver on that front. Many different cuts of beef, pork, game, and even multiple pate' styles. The majority of dishes seemed to be tapas style, so can be shared amidst a couple or a few people. I highly recommend the prosciutto wrapped dates, which are an excellent combination of sweet, salty and savory. One of my dining partners also had a nicely cooked octopus tentacle cooked in a type of cream reduction...very elegant but not overly pricey or even reminiscent of a high end dining experience. Those I was eating with were all big on craft beer, so we didn't order any mixed drinks, with the exception of one...from what she said, it was quite good. The beer selection however, didn't disappoint. There was a large variety, and all appeared to be picked specifically to pair well with certain types of meat. Overall, nice little dining spot. We came for an early dinner, so it wasn't too busy. This strikes me as a cool place to have a light dinner before going out later for drinks.
