The Tilted Skillet Washington

A must go to place! If you’re in the area, I strongly suggest stopping in for a meal at the Tilted Skillet. The Executive Chef has made a great menu and also has built a great establishment! Walking into the restaurant I noticed all the decorations and the dining rooms looked very neat and also very appealing to the eye. Their bar is beautiful. By far the greatest selection of whiskey around the area. They also had one of my favorite beers as well. Now moving onto the food. The food was outstanding! The toasted raviolis are handmade and are also very delicious. I was amazed! I have never tasted toasted raviolis that good! The Tilted Skillet’s marinara sauce is also very delicious as well. I’m very impressed. My selection for my main item for lunch that day was the brisket burger and let me tell you it was amazing! The brisket was cooked perfectly as well as my burger being cooked to the exact temperature preference that I selected. The scalloped potatoes were outstanding. I highly suggest ordering the scallop potatoes for your side item on any of thegreat selection of food that they offer that comes with a side dish. I wish they had my main favorite beer but that’s not a big deal because I was blown away by everything that the tilted skillet had to offer as well as being able to talk to the executive chef about his establishment. Plus they had one of my favorite beers anyway! It must go to place! If I will definitely frequent this restaurant!

Last night was our first experience at The Tilted Skillet. We loved the salads, they use really good greens. My husband got the special which was a shrimp and scallop risotto, which was delicious. He also ordered a Victory At Sea beer, it was like fizzy coffee. Sounds a little weird maybe, but we both really liked it. My son got a T-Rav pizza. The pizza was tasty, we enjoyed the cheese blend used. However, we thought there was too much filling in the crust. Maybe about half the amount would suit our tastes better. I had the seafood stuffed chicken and sidewinder fries with spicy seasoning. The chicken was good, it could have used a little more sauce or have been pounded before cooking to make it a little thinner, but the seafood stuffing was yummy. The sidewinder fries were thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. The service was fantastic. Our server showed us just the right amount of attention, not too much, not too little. We also got to chat with one of the owners toward the end our meal. He was milling about checking how everyone was doing. We will be returning and trying more of the tempting menu items.
