The food is incredible. If you're looking for a good, fresh sandwich, this is the place! So fresh and the portions are very generous.
I would give them 5 stars but be prepared to be underwhelmed by the staff. Not rude, but not friendly. Incredibly slow when busy and when not. It seems almost unorganized. But the food is delicious. If the staff pulled it together, this would be a 5 star stop.
I have first hand knowledge of how fresh the ingredients are, after having worked at the Picnic Basket for a number of years, freshness can't be beat!
Today I ordered a 6" roast beef n cheddar heated up with mayo only. It was missing the mayo :( . The meat, cheese, and bread were delicious though.
Just ate here last week. Nice little place with some great sandwiches. I picked up a fantastic Grilled Cheese and Cheese and Bacon sandwich along with the Spinach Strawberry Salad - which was ginormous. I would recommend this place and will definitely be back!!
I have been meaning to write this review for weeks. So I work in the Automotive field where the relationship you have with each customer is so important. My story start out with a long morning a few weeks back I was out test driving one of our company cars for quality control in the rain wondering why I was developing a headache. Ah dummy you haven't eaten yet today. So I pull into the PICNIC BASKET on Bluemound order their weekly sandwich special which was a amazing burger on hoggie I then reach for my wallet and my pocket is empty. Yep wallet is in desk drawer at work. I excuse myself to head out the door and the owner stops me. What happens next is the reason for this review. He says "stay & eat" then reaches into his pocket and pays for my lunch and just catch him next time. Amazing business man... I came back 3 days later paid him back ate another great sandwhich and have been coming back once a week since. I am now a customer for life!!!
