Contrary to what other's have said regarding price, I still think you get a very generous portion of ice cream for the cost. I do share in the disappointment that the majority of the flavors are frozen in a display freezer and scooped out like every other ice cream place. Only two flavors are made in front of people which, I agree, adds to the whole experience. I'm not sure if this was done to save on cost, or for efficiency, or both? But I can say that it took just as long to get my order as it did when everything was made on the counter to order. I've seen the owner comment on other reviews that they make the bulk ice cream in small batches daily, which may be true. But that doesn't seperate you from the rest anymore. The experience has changed for the long time customers and that means something to people. It's what makes you unique. You can't disregard that.

Milkcraft used to be a novelty ice cream shop. I haven't been here since the ceiling collapsed and honestly, I don't think I will be back. The ice cream itself has always been good, but the rest of the experience left me yearning for the past. A few changes include: Only two types of icecream are made at a time, while the rest of the scoops come from a freezer. One of my favorite reasons for coming here was seeing my ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. Which I understand they still use, but the visual of it is what is missing now. I can get a scoop of icecream from a freezer at just about any ice cream shop. There were two separate groups of people sitting at the chairs/bar stools that were not eating ice cream. One group just walked in and sat down without ordering anything. When someone in my group asked an employee about it, they said there was nothing they could do. I remember when you couldn't even sit on the outside chairs without ordering icecream. Normally I wouldn't care, but it is a small place and they removed about half the seating. A few of the employees didn't seem to know what they were doing and they were quite a bit rude. I ordered the almond butter with all the toppings plus whipped cream (yes, I verbally confirmed I wanted all the usual toppings) and once they handed me my ice cream (after moving to the other side of the counter and about 5 minutes of waiting), they stated they did not have the almond slivers. I can understand being out of something, but please mention it when I am ordering! I probably would have ordered something else... They didn't have any soda for sale (it used to be in the cooler) and I didn't see the Dragon Balls. Kind of like a hollow cereal ball, but with liquid nitrogen smoke inside. If you have never seen liquid nitrogen ice cream made, it is really neat to see. But other than that, the experience wasn't great.

Loved it, I got a cool waffle 🧇 creation that had bourbon in it, I'm not a drinker but I actually got a buzz,lol. This was one place to visit on our ice cream tour this year for my son and I. Sadly we will not revisit until next year even though it was delicious, 🤤. So it's off to a new place to try, if you like ice cream and want to try cool creations, this place is a must visit.

The ice cream was very good however the customer service could use a bit of work. A friend and I went in and waited for about 10 minutes for someone to even come out of the back and take our orders (I believe her name was Ariana as it was on her necklace although I am unsure). Her overall manner was rude and standoffish, and while I recognize that there is no need to be polite in these transactions the way that she addressed my friend and I was definitely lacking in basic human decency. Again, good ice cream, just some questionable employees.

Waaaaaaay overpriced for what I got. I tried to order two scoops of different flavors and they told me I couldn't, not because they were out but because one of the scoops had to be made "on the other end of the counter"? The flavors were creative, but in the end I got a sticky cup of runny ice cream for $8. Behind the counter was also in disarray, overall not a great experience. I am very disappointed. They now only make 2 flavors in front of you and all the other flavors are in a freezer pre maid. My ice cream was pre maid in the freezer and when I had some it had ice in it and was not creamy and smooth like it would be if it was made. My cone was also not warm and tough. Very bad idea that they went to pre maid ice cream, and hopefully won’t lose customers because of this.
