Great flavors. Crisp-pressed burger patty with plenty of mushrooms on a great-tasting bun. It was freshly prepared and hot when I received it. Not an oversized burger and was $10 for a single with no sides or beverages. A little pricey in my book.

My criteria for any smash burger are the thin, crispy, caramelized "smashed" edges of the meat patties: This had none of that. Not a bad burger, but not expected when smash comes to mind. Friend Brussels were OK - some way under and some way over cooked. Fryer oil added that carbon zing/bitterness - So that's likely up for a change.

This was my first time having Smashburger... I'll never eat Five Guys again! The burgers were way juicier, flavorful, and wonderfully prepared. Also, it didn't feel like a fast food restaurant...like other reviews said, it's "fast slow food". The option to have a beer with your burger was awesome! The smash tots were delicious. I highly recommend to anyone who has not tried Smashburger and will definitely come back!
