Beautiful atmosphere, looks upscale but the Hostess makes you feel right at home.The waiter service was great, friendly, attentive & courteous. Thank you Angel! Great selection of dishes, from various seafood, meats, to plenty of pasta. I was impressed with the waiters explanation and knowledge of the menu . I had the "Linguine alla Positano" partly because that is one of my bucket list destinations. And from what we were told , the owner used to live in Positano, and that's his favorite dish. It was delicious and like nothing I've ever tasted. If you like herbs and something different, it works. I'm looking forward to coming back to try different items on the menu. My friend ordered "Linguine all avongole" Clams with a delicious light sauce. It was yummy, I would order that next time. For dessert I had the pumpkin dish, which was to die for, yum! The wine list is good but doesn't have too many wines by the glass, and not one Sauvignon Blanc, which most people won't care, since I seem to be the only one in Whittier that likes Sav Blanc Lol. That was my only disappointment. There is an "Interesting Drinks" list that all looked fun and very inviting. Can't wait to try some of those also. Great place for date night, or any special occasion. It's wonderful to have quality restaurants uptown, and this one is sure to please.
Ravello is a really nice and elegant place. We came for my fiances birthday last night. Food was good. Our waitress/service really sucked... (previous post)
We has a chance to come back to Ravellos and had a much better experience. The waiter was very attentive! My fiance and I had a really nice dinner. I chose the ravioli special (braised shortrib ravioli). It was soooooo good!! My fiance chose the evening special (sword fish with garlic mashed potatoes and a red pepper puree). The food is supurb and very elegant. After giving it another chance, the service was great this time around. Maybe the waitress the first time was having a bad day, not sure? We will definitely be coming back in the near future.
Excellent service!!! Nicely decorated for the upcoming holiday season. Two separate dining areas. A “family friendly” area. Which simply means sports viewing experiences available, and bring the kids if you like.
A fine dining area which is suited for more quiet dining. Such as a first date. Or married date night.
Each area sports it’s own bar area as well.
Menu modifications accepted (reasonable)

Great atmosphere. Happy hour is amazing. 4-7. Get a pizza for $5bucks. Feeds two. Or three.
Great drink menu, food menu a little limited. Everything we ordered was very good, servers were very attentive.
Come on now. Wood fired authentic italian pizza wit al da toppings...the chef is great. Bar keep eggcellent. Aceite olivio 👌😋...alimiento.
The food here was excellent. The meatballs were soft and juicy. I had the Sea Bass Branzino Bowl and it was great top to bottom. Unfortunately I didn't get the waiter's name but he was very attentive and pleasant. It's a good spot for a sit down dinner. They should definitely downsize to just the bar side and keep it small.
It's not Ravello's anymore, but 'Costa' and it has the best of everything! The place is fantastically detailed and two bars with a place for private gatherings makes this place perfect for family celebrations and romantic dinners. And the food: WOW!!! And such salsas! So many, so tasty, and as hot (or not) as you can handle. Expect the best meats, too.
We had a company dinner here last night and the ambience and food and service were great! I had the salmon and it was exquisite. I will definitely be back soon. It did have a funky smell when we first walked in but other then that it was amazingly good!
