I have had chicken in quite a lot of towns in different states all across this great country. I will testify that MERRITT'S half side, deep fried chicken will keep you coming back for more! Let me also say you could not pick a better place to endorse with your hard earned money than the Merritt family. For they are as caring and loving as any family owned establishment gets. Lets keep supporting this establishment for as long as they choose to stay in business...

Their fried chicken is out of this world. Merritt's slaw is the only slaw that I eat. If I have any leftover I'll eat it for breakfast. Yummo.

I go to Merritt's as much as I can. Whenever I get back to Wilmington, and it's always amazing. Many thanks to everyone at Merritt's for maintaining one of Wilmington's greatest food options.
