Was driving through Yonkers today and stop by Lola on the grill. For the first time I must point out the mofongo is the best I ever had,comparing to 99% of the Dominican restaurant I ate at in Queens . Will be back for sure 5 stars all the way. It will worth the drive.

The best food in all Westchester County in my honest opinion. The staff is very attentive and cordial. This is a pretty busy restaurant rightfully so, but the staff always manages to give great customer service to my family and I.The shrimp mofongo is my personal favorite! Thank you Lola for all you do in our community aside from making delicious food :-)

The food is good, they have a great variety of dishes. It is small but, they make it work. The line where the food is served is always clean. My mom, dad, and husband love when I bring something for them. The lemonade is fresh and has a sweet tart taste just like I like it. The desserts are ok but expensive. The food is very affordable. Their Swai fish is delicious with yellow rice. Their kidney beans are on point. Grilled chicken, tripe, oxtail, curry chicken are all good according to my family. It's been my standing lunch/dinner date with dad after his Dr. Appts. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's a small location so they move quickly. As for the manager he is a nice guy. He runs a good business...try it for yourself! :-) S/N: I was hesitant to try this restaurant based on reviews but, I must say it has been a great experience every time! They may seem like their rude but the line needs to move. If you need a minute to decide let the next person go. It's a good restaurant. I keep coming back and get a Lola loyalty card after 10 purchases you get a free meal. I will redeem mine soon!
