Chilacates is a treasure ��� This place was ranked best taqueria in Massachusetts, and while my experience isn't broad enough to claim that, it's definitely the best taqueria in Boston. Overall, it's hard to find great Mexican in Boston, but Chilacates is a shining exception. The Burritoes are my go too and even the Guey (Medium) will fill you up for two meals. The Tortas are also to die for. Socrates runs a tight ship; the store is clean and the line moves fast, although it's seating is in short supply and the place is usual jammed, so it's often easiest to carry out. If you're considering Chilacates, go. You won't be disappointed.

This place is awesome! I've been here several times when I'm in the area and it never disappoints. Highly recommend their tortas, they are killer!

Excellent doesn't begin to tell the story. I just popped in for a quick bite while running errands around town. Best decision of the day. Big line the minute they open but there's a line for a reason. They say authentic Mexican street food and it is. I had two tacos: one shrimp and one pork. I ate the shrimp taco first and thought well that'll be the best of the two. Then I tasted the pork. Oh, please don't ask me to decide which one was better. Can't wait to get back.
