Fantastic dim sum place where they still use carts! Service: Typical service of a dim sum place, although can be a little slow getting food out. Had to wait 30 min to be seated because it was so popular, but we just went to a bakery in the plaza to grab some iced coffee while we waited. Server brou
The dimsum was delicious. You can order from the pushcarts or paper menu. The food came out very fast. The squabs (pictured) were moist with crispy skin. The steamed BBQ pork buns were fluffy, with the filing not having red dye. The pan-fried chive dumplings have a very thin, crispy wrapper with l
When I am up in the Bay area this is one of the spots I try and hit. There are a number of Dim Sum places up there, but this place is consistently good with a good selection of options. The line can get long so go early or plan to wait. Prices are reasonable, restaurant is acceptable and the serv
Best dim sum and service. Pricey and worth the cost. The mango puddings are the best. The shrimp rice noodles (ha cheng) here are the best I have ever tasted. The noodle is thin (a good thing) and filled with large, plump, fresh shrimp. The variety of dim sum is amazing. There are carts that go
The whole experience here is very welcoming and the staff are all super attentive to our needs, especially the manager! They are fast and efficient and always ensured our tea pot is filled. The food is amazing, with special mention to the coffee ribs that was so crunchy on the outside yet tender to
Still one of my favorite dim sum places in the bay area. Great variety and they still use the carts.
We came here on recommendation from a co-worker. It’s located in a plaza. The place was fairly clean. Employee were efficient. Our host was attentive. It’s not your traditional dim sum rolling in a cart. Your given a menu and you order what you want. So your food is brought out to you fresh and hot
One of the Koi Palace in Dublin. Over here, you could have some up scale authentic Cantonese food. The place is a bit small. The distance between tables is not that spacious. The service is decent, as long as you wave you hand, you will get response, better than the Milpitas branch. For the food
First of all, they charge mandatory 18% of service charge. My bill for 2 adult was $71, and including tax and tips, it came out to $92 (not including optional extra tips, if you are up for). Because of that, I believe the waiting line is no longer as crazy as before. Only if you are willing to pay f
Service could a bit better although understandable that they're usually packed. However, I really enjoy the food here - it's Cantonese so the taste was mild and good. When I think about it, I even enjoy the food at Koi Palace more than when in HK at times.
Met my friends there and we had 4 dishes for dinner. Lamb, okra, Hong Kong style crispy seafood noodles & soy chicken. I think the crispy noodles dish was the best but the okra & lamb were good. The okra was very well prepared and not overly slimy. Service was good.
Good place to get some Chinese, I would have liked some more chicken options .... we did couple of different dishes and some dumplings to see how different things in the menu line up by taste. All of them turned out pretty good, it's a bit on the salty and oily side but you should expect that sinc
Best of dim sum in the area without question. The selection is pretty complete. All traditional dim sum is on rhw menu. On the regular weekdays, this place is frequented by older Chinese people, which imo is a good indicator of experienced dinners. Highly recommended.
-bird nest custard egg tart [B item] -shrimp and scallop dumplings with black truffles [L item] -grilled chive and shrimp dumplings [K item] i love love loveeee dim sum and this spot has some of my favorite items like these three. a staple that i always order at a dim sum spot would be chives and s
The restaurant was very comfortable and clean. The service was exceptionally warm, and then there was the food which was 100% en pointe. The West Lake beef soup was just the right thickness with a generous portion of tender, flavorful beef and cilantro that was present but not overpowering. The Lamb
This review is for Koi Palace Express on the first floor of this location. Interesting little round tables with chairs that fit perfectly in. The typical Cantonese dishes' and noodles' tastes and flavors were all acceptable, with reasonable prices. A good place to grab a quick bite if you are in
