Great quick Airport Breakfast!! Charlotte Airport is lucky to have such a good restaurant in its lineup such as Brookwood Farms! Very friendly welcoming staff, lightning quick service and the food is wonderful. I got the big country breakfast for $14.99 and it certainly hit the spot. Eggs, Biscuit, smoked sausage, and oatmeal.
Delicious! Located in the food court
You don’t go to the airport for good food, but on the rare occasion you have something decent, it’s worth talking about! I had a connecting flight in the morning through Charlotte recently and had some time to get food before the second leg of my trip. I saw this place with the big “barbecue” sign on top and thought, might as well try it since I’m in North Carolina! They had a huge line waiting for the people serving you, but I stuck it out (it took about 20 minutes or so) and I got myself a big plate for breakfast. Biscuit, eggs, bacon, hash browns, sausage…and there were many more options available, my plate just got too full! All in all, it was a pretty solid breakfast - it won’t be winning any awards, but it will fill you up nicely and get you prepared for the flight ahead. I’d recommend this place if you’re ever at this airport in the morning!
Late lunch / early dinner before a flight home. For airport food, I have to admit that the food was decent.
I got the 2-meat platter (pulled pork and shredded chicken topped with bbq sauce) with coleslaw, green beans, and hush puppies.
The pulled pork was great (nice and moist). The chicken was just okay. The coleslaw was great, and the green beans were marginal. I wish I had gotten the collard greens instead of the green beans. I try not to eat fried stuff and especially not fried bread, but the hush puppies were great.
All-in-all, 4 stars for airport food.
