I had the pleasure of trying Franco's Pizza for the first time this past Thursday thanks to my friend Jay and I give them 5 full Stars. As a lifelong New Haven pizza snob and resident...and having tried pizza in 40 countries and 40 states in my travels I was impressed with the New Haven traditional thin crust style coupled with their own unique twist with fresh ingredients. I had each of the sausage, pepperoni and cheese slices and I'm instantly a fan. I'll be back! Keep doing what you do and Kudos to Franco's!
This was our first time in Milford, and my first Italian meal there as well and I’m SOOOOOO happy it was, Angela greeted us and took our order and entertained us as well. She’s a true treasure! The food was outstanding from the mozzarella sticks to the cheese ravioli. She mentioned that after 27 years in that location that they are being forced to relocate, and we told her we just found out we are relocating ourselves as it turns out to Milford and with the delicious food and lovely staff such as herself we’ll follow them whoever the land as I’m sure others will as well.
Just love their thin crust pizza...so good! Employees are friendly too.

Before serendipitously finding this place while waiting for a train (former location), I had never enjoyed calzones. Every one I had tried before was just a dry loaf of bread with a meager amount of cheese and stuffing inside. But the clouds parted and whence came Franco's calzone with its thin, crispy shell and copious ricotta cheese spilling out like magma. It's my favorite food in Milford. Their pizza ain't shabby either, but I will never forget and will never stop raving about their calzone. Lovely, friendly family that runs this place, too.
One benefit of this year was I discovered Franco’s Pizza. One Friday night I called my usual place and was told they were not taking any orders that evening so I tried Franco’s. Franco’s pizza has a good thin crust and a tasty sauce and has become my go to place for pizza and Italian food!
Their Sicilian pizza is the BEST, well worth the 60 minute wait. They're also quite creative with their specials. Our new favorite is the apple, bacon, goat cheese with fig drizzle.
