When it comes to restaurants like this, I’m kind of like Forky from Toy Story, I’m straight trash. I had to put this disclaimer before I wrote this piece. Wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. The location is very cute, sitting in the famous passageway downtown in Old Market. It was interesting walking down but once inside the restaurant, you don’t feel like you’re in an alleyway. It’s actually a nice and romantic setting. Restaurant did a great job with setting. Custom menus wishing us a Happy Anniversary and our waiter did a great job explaining the menu and making recommendations to a commoner such as myself. He even got me the WiFi password since I needed to google half of the dishes. As for the food, I got the Osso Bucco pictured below. The servings may not be large but they are absolutely delicious and filling. I wasn’t a fan of the polenta (bland) but the rest of the dish was fantastic. The dessert was a chocolate/peanut butter mousse creation. I enjoyed it and wife did too, definitely different than what I’ve had before. We also had the lobster gnocchi, which was the most flavorful and awesome dish to dip the bread in they provide at the beginning. Was between a four and five star review, gave it five due to our server being fantastic.
