Consistently one of the best tables in Omaha. A tight menu full of delicious French recipes. You cannot make a poor choice. The execution of each dish is amazing, and the little touches of flavor from the butter, to the seasoning is next level. One of the best wine lists in the area. Pictured is the Boullibase, a lovely blend of shellfish, filets, broth, and oh....that bread. So good. Have been coming here for over 10 years and it has always been a delight.
If I could give six stars, I would, each part of the evening was amazing. The atmosphere is quaint and relaxed, with a high end, service and food and drink selection.
My wife ordered the duck and sausage, while I took the braised lamb. The duck was beautifully soft with the perfect amount of flavor. The braised lamb was fall off the bone delicious with the ideal ratio of meat and fat. Did I mention the lamb sauce was incredible and the vegetables texted so fresh!
The chef also provided a free foie gras, very rich and flavorful.
Finally, maybe saving the best for last, our server, Shawn on top of his attentive and knowledgeabl service, shared his homemade lemon cello as a finishing touch to complete our meal, sweet, sour, and the right amount of bite in it.
All in all obviously I highly recommend this restaurant, make sure you call to reserve in advance, I highly sought after treasure, like this needs to be reserved.
My husband and I went for the 1st time Saturday night. It was as fantastic as I was told. Laura was our waitress and honey we had a ball!!!!! Chef Wilson came out to say hello as well!!!
