The Master's Baker

The Master’s Baker was included with our wedding venue options for a wedding cake. We had a tasting and loved the cake. There are so many options when it comes to choosing your cake, icing and look. Our wedding cake turned out beautiful. The bakery gives a complimentary cake on your one year anniversary which is so thoughtful, and it was delicious!

The Masters Baker was incredible to work with. We booked them for our wedding this year, which has been difficult with COVID, having to reschedule everything twice—once for having to change our date, and then again to change from an indoor Country Club location to an outdoor reception in our own backyard last minute. Through all of the change of plans and rescheduling they were super responsive and willing and able to switch plans with us no problem. We first had our wedding cake tasting at their shop in West Chester, and first of all their bakery location is gorgeous and comfortable inside, where they offered us coffee and had a nice waiting area. Then we were taken into a private tasting room where they had a gorgeous chandelier, beautifully designed cakes on display, and a huge flatscreen tv which our wedding cake coordinator used to easily show us all different styles of cakes. That was such a nice touch which made browsing the styles and designs so nice and easy, and fun! Then the tasting! All of the flavors of cake and icing were so delicious, I wanted them all! We chose pink champagne and orange velvet. We were so impressed by the unique and rich flavors that were anything but boring cake! And my husband and I aren’t even really cake people, and let me tell you, these cakes were so incredibly moist and flavorful. The day of the wedding our cake arrived perfectly and looked so gorgeous. The decorating style and buttercream flowers were exactly the colors and look we wanted. I wouldn’t have changed a thing! I definitely recommend them for any bakery needs!

My husband and I booked The Master’s Baker to bake our cake for our wedding, and we could not have been happier with the level of service, flexibility and commitment we experienced. I received a response to all the emails I sent right away, and we were able to easily schedule a tasting to fit our busy working schedules. The service from the young lady we were working with, Grace, was unmatched. I told her I wanted to incorporate elements of my gown into the cake to surprise my husband, and she worked with me to fine-tune my vision to make sure the cake had all the elements I was looking for without looking too busy and crowded... and the cake was delicious! The Master’s Baker was extremely affordable and worked seamlessly with our venue for our holiday wedding, truly the process could not have been easier. They delivered the cake to the venue with no issue, placed our cake topper on the cake and had it set up perfectly. The most attractive perk my husband and I were excited about was that instead of keeping the top layer of our cake in our freezer to eat on our one-year anniversary, we will actually be given a small fresh baked “top layer” of our wedding cake to celebrate our one-year anniversary – this additional little mini-cake is included in the price of our wedding cake! We could not have been more pleased with our decision to book The Master’s Baker and will absolutely be ordering from this bakery again for future events!

Not only is the cake delicious but the craftsmen ship is a notch above the rest. They have a great reputation in the wedding field and it's obvious why!
